Anne: Oh they're so wonderful, both of them! They are so fun to talk to! They covered everything from a completely
original perspective - and a highly entertaining one at that. They're both sweet and kind and generous and fun and brilliant
at what they do, and being around actors like that, people like that... you get bruises from pinching yourself so much.
Empire: Nolan has been very insistent this is the final chapter. Does is bother you that you’ll never return to this
world?
Anne: I'm just excited that I got to be part of it, period. There's never been anything like this. I've not yet seen it,
but I have it on good authority that this movie rocks.
A Guide To Catwoman's Costume
Costume designer Lindy Hemming talks us through Anne Hathaway's look...
THE EARS - "Chris Nolan and I were trying to work out why a woman who is sort of modern and trendy and cool would go
around wearing cat-ears! The logic is that when her goggles go up, the shape of the goggles makes the ears. We think it's really
cool. We're very, very pleased with it. But, oh God, we went through so many incarnations to make it happen. I don't know if you've
seen jewelers, or when you go to the

dentist, and they've got that thing that looks into your mouth and they've got magnification and everything... that was my inspiration.
We bought loads of sunglasses and we made them do things with cardboard, and then we got a product designer to come and work with us,
so we started making our version of a night-vision goggle, or magnification goggle, that she uses when she's doing her cat-burgling."
THE CATSUIT - "Anne didn't need to be stitched into it. The suit does up. It's a formed suit, but it's very lightweight. It's not
a heavy suit and it's very breathable, so she doesn't get so hot after she's zipped in.
THE HEELS - "Yeah, her heels are weapons. I mean, there are fashion shoes like that, but they're like knives, so she uses them. But
we have to have rubber heels [in reality], otherwise we'd kill."
